I like to purchase them as a hands-on educational toy relating to various topics we are studying in Social Studies or Science. The tiny models are very high-quality, realistic, well-made, and nicely painted. The name of the animal is printed on the underside of each model. They store nicely in a clear plastic tube with a cool spinning globe on the lid, and a string for carrying. The plastic tube will break or crush easily if stepped on.
