(More customer reviews)Let's face it- at this point, the bigger Lotso is sold out and going for big bucks, so there's not much of a chance to get one for a reasonable cost if you missed out. Luckily, my daughter didn't care and just wanted a Lotso of her own, so she got this little guy for one of her birthday presents. It's funny seeing how tiny this one is compared to the bigger talking one, but she loves it, and that's all that matters to me. Still, for a smaller stuffed animal, there are worse ones out there, and people need to look at a ruler before buying this version if they're really so surprised by the size when it comes in the mail.
Mini Lotso is 6 inches tall in his regular sitting position, but 8 inches tall when you extend his legs. He's very, VERY soft and cuddly, and yes, he does smell like strawberries. He doesn't have any articulation, doesn't talk, and doesn't come with his mallet walking stick, but he does come with the power of making you go "awwww" when you see that wittle smile on his face. Seriously, I want one of these now too. For a cheaper, smaller version of Lotso, this one looks about as good as you can get in this price range. He's accurate to the movie, complete with those trademark eyebrows.
The only thing that could possibly disappoint buyers is the strawberry smell. Some Lotsos smell stronger than others, probably from being smelled in the store over and over, or some just being newer. If you have a store that carries these, go around smelling them to get the best one if it really matters to you or your child. Lotso is still a great buy for the original retail price he still goes for as of this typing. They've done a great job with these mini Toy Story 3 plush characters, and Lotso is definitely one of the best.
