It has an incredibly soft, strokeable texture and is very cuddly, perfect for little ones to cuddle with or drag along to day care. I love that it is machine washable. This and all of the other Ty animals that we have bought for our toddler have really withstood being dragged around, dropped, kicked (by a 7y.o.) and washed repeatedly. They have lost nothing in texture or durability.
