No worries about her getting harmed, she's indestructible. I took all the shipping wires off and in that process mussed her hair so I brushed it out and then curled the tendrils around my finger, banana curl style - she looked just like she did in the box. A perfect cheerful doll for those in between Baby and the 18" dolls for the older set.
