I enjoy doing "Barbie" programs for charitable organizations; this year we have done Toys for Tots, and the Food Bank, next year I hope to expand. This is a truly great addition to my collection. Abbe worked in several design firms before coming to Mattel in 1983, where she's been designing for Barbie ever since and enjoying every minute. Where does she get her ideas? From fashion magazines, concerts, the theatre and ballet, but mostly from the beautiful things she loved as a child.
