With it, my son won every race in his class, and won 3rd overall! :-) I picked up some "plain ol' graphite" at Home Depot that doesn't have the "Molybdenum" and I couldn't tell the difference. The Hob-E-Lube is competitively priced with all of the other graphite lubes, and it seems the pinewood derby pros all recommend this one.
