(More customer reviews)My 14 month old son received this as a gift for Christmas and has absolutely loved breaking it apart and putting it back together (with a little help). Unlike the cheap and possibly harmful toys that are designed with little concern for childhood development, this toy is durable and we love that the paints are vegetable based. The train was just one of several Plan Toys that we now own and I would definitely recommend this product for any young child. And parents can have a little piece of mind, too.

Children can pull the Sorting Train wherever they desire using the attached cord which helps children develop good hand-eye coordination. Children can sort shapes into the spaces provided on the train by matching shapes with corresponding spaces. This helps children learn how to solve problems through trial and error.
