(More customer reviews)I remember when I first saw Wooper at a store either last year or the year before, and I passed up on buying him, figuring they'd have more in stock later on. Nope. This little dude was one of the more popular ones, and for an obvious reason- he's so freakin' cute! Wooper is basically an axolotl, one of the coolest pets you could ever get, but without arms. Come to think of it, he almost looks like a mutated Peanuts character. Hey, he's still charming! But I finally got my own Wooper the other day, and I'm proud to sport him on my shelf...when my daughter doesn't nab him off the shelf to add to her Pokemon at least.
Wooper looks perfect, and is one of the better mini plush from the last couple of years. Mine isn't overstuffed anywhere, and the materials used on him are of great quality. The horn-looking things on his head are made of a thick felt, and stick out perfectly. Stitching on the eyes and mouth looks spot-on, as do the marks on his stomach. And of course he has his tail, but it doesn't help him stand up, so Wooper will need to be propped up against something if you want to display it. The colors are nice and help him stand out amongst the other mini Pokemon.
The only thing keeping him from getting 5 in the durability category is the horn-things. While they're made with quality, they could be ripped out if mishandled or tugged a few times. They're sewn in pretty well, but still, they're the only thing that could really 'break' on Wooper.
'not much more to say- I love this little guy, and he's one of my favorites right next to Torkoal and Jirachi.
