They are in love with their older sister's baby dolls, which they really shouldn't be playing with due to choking hazards. This doll is appropriately sized for a very small child, with embroidered eyes, mouth, etc. It is a stuffed doll, so no problem if your child sucks on it. Very soft, so nice for giving hugs. The small bottle and teddy bear are large enough that they do not pose choking hazards. Yes, the doll is hard for a child to dress, but the kids I think it is most appropriate for are not yet old enough to rip clothes off and dress it. The bed is also soft fabric, another bonus for the very young kid. I didn't know what to expect when I placed my order and was VERY pleased with the result. Perfect 1st birthday gift. Don't even THINK of giving this to an older (say 2 year old) child.
