(More customer reviews)My daughter wants a large play kitchen, but a close substitute is to have a kitchen her Playmobil people can use, and this one is really packed with stuff.
The fridge has door shelves for the milk and soda bottles, as well as more shelves inside the main part of the fridge. There's lots of shelving beneath the counters for putting away the many dishes and mixing bowls. The stove, which opens, comes with casserole dishes and "veggie dogs" and "veggie burgers" that can be baked in them. There's a decent amount of food that comes with it, including bread/rolls, a jar of peaches, a can of tomatoes, and jars of veggies and some purple stuff that we decided is cabbage. There are lots of utensils and a frying pan that can be hung on a rack above the stove, but my favorite part is that the dishwasher has a realistic drawer that can actually be loaded up with plates and cups/utensils.
Of course, for nearly $30, you'd hope that this set would be really cool, and it is. It's probably one of my favorites of the household sets, which we're slowly collecting.
And for those who are mindful of where their children's toys are made: Unlike some of the newer Playmobil sets, this one is not made in China, but Germany.
