(More customer reviews)We recently got the Roundhouse as companion to our train set. Somehow I missed that this piece was available earlier or we would have bought it before. My son is very pleased to put his trains to sleep each night Nice sturdy construction and attractive design. The doors are really nicely designed. and can flip either way. The scale is correct for other Plan Toys road and rail sets too. It isn't clear in the picture but it comes with a substantial wooden track piece to connect to the tracks.

Completing the rail system with The Roundhouse which allows for storage of up to 3 engines. Each engine can be released separately by opening the door.
Playtime Ideas:
Children can play in groups and imagine themselves traveling to different destinations on different paths. The roundhouse acts as engine storage; children can move the train in the desired destination along the tracks helping to develop eye-hand coordination.
Children will learn about storing and maintaining the train.
