The toy is recommended for 12 months and up, but Kylie really loved Ernie and the Tickle-Me-Ernie her dad got her is made for watching, not playing with (They are heavy & clunky). So, this one seemed like a good option. Kylie is constantly supervised, so I believed it would be okay for her to have this toy.
This Ernie has felt hair, which is a better option than the fuzzy yarn hair for babies who, of course, put everything in their mouths. It also has pretty durable eyes (sewn on, no buttons) and nose.
She loves him. He's lightweight and easy for her to pick up.
