I'm a movie purist, so I was happy to see that Tonner revisited Glinda and created a new sculpt that looks like Billie Burke (the actress that portrayed Glinda in the 1939 The Wizard of Oz movie), rather than the previous version which just looked like a typical Tonner doll. The costume is gorgeous and extremely detailed; thumbs up on this one! Needless to say, with the detailing, fragile wand, hat, and the price of this doll (gulp), this is a collectible doll, not one for the very young to play with and maul. It's still a little surprising that a doll of this price and caliber doesn't come with a Certificate of Authenticity or any other accompanying paperwork.
