One of the highlights of Kenner's late `90s Star Wars Action Collection 12" figure line are the Hoth-themed figures as seen in the Empire Strikes Back. I loved the snow-ready `80s figures as a kid (I once lost a Han Solo figure until the spring thaw), and was (mostly) impressed by these 12" figures.
Han Solo in Hoth gear was an obvious choice. This figure previously appeared in the Star Wars Collector Series "Han Solo & Tauntaun" 2-pack (this was when the line was still called the Collectors Series), but was later issued in the open-front green box of the Action Collection.
Pros - This figure has a fantastic outfit and is loaded with gear. It comes with goggles, helmet, blaster pistol (that fits in the holster) and "Bespin style" blaster with a goofy red missile. The Han that came with the Tauntaun did not have the Bespin gun, but came with binoculars that this figure is missing.

Cons - It's still the same basic head sculpt as the early Han figures, which doesn't look all that much like Han.
I kept this figure on my shelf for years, but when the DC area was hit with consecutive blizzards earlier this year, my son and I took the Hoth figures outside and had an epic Empire Strikes Back battle. Now that brought back memories!
