(More customer reviews)This is the fifth 3D model I have put together in two months: following the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, Eiffel Tower, and U.S. Capitol. My interest in these is still by no means lessened. There are at least four more I want. *squirrels away cash*
That being said, I was not so impressed by the quality of the pieces on this model. The tabs felt flimsy, and a few even snapped completely off. There are enough tabs to keep it together even without one or two, but they should not have snapped in the first place.
My only other complaint was the design of the "sails": the top pieces did not fit smoothly over the supporting ones, which made it hard to connect. The little tool for poking out the holes (a very helpful addition: I wish I had it for the Eiffel Tower!) came in handy here, maneuvering the tabs into their places.
Despite these few complaints I was quite happy with the finished product and would recommend it. Just be careful with the tabs.
