(More customer reviews)Once the late `90s 12" Star Wars figure line started to explode in popularity, Kenner decided to issue several figure 2-packs and distribute them exclusively (for a time, at least) through specific retailers. These sets drove collectors crazy, as they often featured characters that fans had long requested.
This set featured Luke Skywalker and Han Solo in Stormtrooper disguise from their Death Star infiltration in A New Hope.
Pros - They're dressed as Stormtroopers, for crying out loud! That alone makes this set worthwhile. Yes, the Stormtrooper armor is rubbery, but they still look cool. There are also some neat accessories, including a long rifle, blaster pistol, removable helmets and a little Death Star Mouse Droid.
Cons - These figures use the same basic Luke and Han head sculpts, so they don't look all that much like Luke and Han.
Both Luke and Han have since been released under the Action Collection banner, so this set isn't as essential as it once was. It's still a neat 2-pack, and the packaging is nice. Serious collectors will no doubt prefer the Sideshow Heroes of the Rebellion Collectibles Star Wars Deluxe 12 Inch Action Figure Luke Skywalker & Han Solo as Stormtroopers set, but this is a more affordable alternative.

This is a two figure collector's set produced by Kenner for KB Toys in 1996. Both figures are 12" in size. These were produced in a very limited 20,000 set run and are very hard to find.
