(More customer reviews)I bought three different versions of these for my kids ages 10 boy, 11 boy and 13 girl. They were on sale for under five dollars, so it was just supposed to be a little filler gift. Boy was I surprised when the ipod, Nintendo ds and Xbox 360 spent a good deal of time neglected as each party took care of their little pet. The kids had a blast hatching their egg, finding out what gender their pet was, cleaning up their "messes" and taking them to school. The only negative is that if you don't remember to pause the game when you go away or to sleep for the night, your pet will die quite quickly. It is easy enough to hatch a new one, but could be upsetting for younger children. The online portion of the game is kind of a pain. There are a lot of passwords involved, and I think the kids got bored with trying to figure that out. Overall, it was an inexpensive fun little gift. My fifteen year old high school football player even said he wished he had got one. Boy was I shocked. Hope this is helpful.
