(More customer reviews)My daughter is visually impaired, and this doll has been perfect for her! It makes wonderful sounds and does what it is supposed to do. She giggles when you hold her foot, says,"hello, Mommy" when you hold her hand and says,"I love you, Mommy" when you kiss her cheek. She also makes sounds when she eats and drinks and then says,"potty, Mommy" when she wants to sit on her potty which also makes appropriate sounds. My daughter and her other visually impaired preschool friends love "baby Lia". Baby Lia has been well loved and played with often, but because she shuts off automatically, she still has original batteries two months later. We also love that baby Lia speaks other languages. French is actually her mother tongue, but she speaks English beautifully with her English bracelet. She also is lightly scented, so that is another bonus for a child with low vision. Baby Lia seemed pricey for a baby doll, but she has been worth every penny!
