This could have been such a great toy. As it is, it's a good, solid toy.
Playmobil got the visual aesthetics and moving parts right. The choice of songs is also good. It plays the wedding march ("Here Comes the Bride" by Wagner) and the standard recessional (Mendelssohn).
But the music is poor. Part of that is due to the tiny speaker--though I've heard better quality speakers in musical cards. So, a small, cheap speaker can have better quality. The worst part is the actual music Playmobil chose. "Here Comes the Bride" sounds like it's played on a cheap music box rather than a piano. And it has what sounds like strange, off key wind chime accompaniment in the background. The Mendelssohn recessional starts off pretty good with what sounds like a grand piano version, but ends with orchestra accompaniment. Why didn't Playmobil just use a piano version of both pieces? Don't know.
It's still fun to play with, but gives an inaccurate version of what a piano does and sounds like. Had this been an organ, keyboard, or even digital piano it could have had those music box, wind chime and orchestra sounds, but not a standard piano.
Because it misleads and the sound quality is poor, I gave it only an average rating. Hopefully, when Playmobil upgrades the product, they will change the easily fixable drawback by including only real piano sounds.
