(More customer reviews)This is a very realistic stuff animal! So ugly that it is cute. My teenaged daughter uses the phrase "awesome possum" when she responds to a text message that makes her happy. I thought it would be fun to get this stuffed toy for her. Well, it was so real looking it made her scream when she took it out of the box! We all love it now, but opposums are not lovable in real life, and I would not call this a lovable toy at first sight. It has added variety to her stuffed animal collection. The tail is very long, and made it hard to stay on a shelf. I removed it, took out some of the stuffing, shortened it and reattached it. Easy to do and made it much more toy-like looking, and less realistic. The body of the animal is 10", the tail is another 12-14"!
