(More customer reviews)I was given the Pope Innocent III action figure by a former AP European History student. the figure became a mainstay of my classroom and stood tall on my lecturn. I asked my wife the Latin teacher to translate the scroll for me. slightly naughty. Prior to tests I would invariably circle the room and offer the Pope up to students ..."high fives" for Protestants and blessings for Catholics. One time I found a note on my computer after class which read, "if you ever want to see the pope again, you will postpone tomorrow's test." The pope made for great fun in the class. we used it for lessons on the papacy during the High MIddle Ages, as well as the Renaissance and Reformation. when i retired I bequeathed the Pope to my successor in European History.
