(More customer reviews)I've been obsessed with Dinosaurs ever since I can remember and when Jurassic Park was released in theaters in 1993, so many great dinosaur toys associated with the movie appeared on toy store shelves. I see the dinosaur toys that kids have these days, and I feel sorry for them.
This realistic looking Velociraptor was one of my favorite dinosaurs from the movie, and made a great toy. It wasn't particularly fancy, it was simply fun to play with. The Raptor bows its head and opens its mouth when you squeeze its legs together. Simple enough, yet a fun toy. So fun in fact that I bought more than one Raptor. Because you know, they travel in packs. =)
I still have all of my Raptors (I also had all the other Dinos from Jurassic Park, including the gigantic T-Rex) and I even brought them to college with me. If you have the means to get this toy for a kid you know, please do so. The Jurassic Park era of toys still stands out in my mind as being one of the best, and I'm sad to see that it's been phased out.
