(More customer reviews)Gotta love these wonderful 'Puppet Master' toys that resemble those scary, yet charming and rememberable, killer puppets from the goodness that is--Full Moon Entertainment!! I know I sure do--or else I wouldn't have dropped my 2 cents in with "reviewing" this awesome-iconic-horror character, which is 'Blade'! Just only 1 out of the 7 killer puppets to spawn from the original and further down the series of sequels. I thought it best to start with 'Blade' since it is the most out of the bunch to be liked by many Horror fanatics. As for me, no, 'Blade' isn't my favorate but does come in a close 2nd or 3rd. Anyhow, enough with the rambling and let me get to the toy here!
I believe 'Blade' was in the second series out of three that came out in 98' - the first series starting in 97' and I think the 3rd and finale series stopped in either 98' or definitly 99'! Full Moon Entertainment produced a number of colored variants for the main puppets along with many characters from other Full Moon titles, but I only cared to collect the 7 killer puppets in their as-seen-on-screen original colors, so at that time being only sixteen I saved some of that part time grocery-store-worker paycheck (haha). More about the toys, They have limited movement but the good news is that they all look so screen accurate! Fine sculping! Fast forward to me barely hanging onto the age of 29, I'm wanting to collect these guys again!!! The only problem now, is while I was collecting these bad boys back in the day (younger and dumber), I OPENED them all, eventually GAVE the toys away, and am NOW wanting to go back and pay the price since these suckers have gone up, especially 'BLADE'!!! Again, 'Blade' is the most saught after out of the bunch and it's easily understood why.
For now, I recieved the first release, original 'Blade' (mint on card), today!!! I got it off eBay instead because these Amazon sellers are asking for a pretty penny even though mine wasn't too much cheaper (haha). Anywho, I now have 2 out of the 7 killer puppets in my Horror figure collection. The first release of original 'Tunneler' kick started my now 2nd time of collecting Puppet Master goodness! Oh, and Blade's eyes light up and has interchangable weapon(s) that can attach to either left or right arm. Blade's jacket comes off too, but considering the price, I wouldn't take it or the rest of the puppets out of package if you are one of those lucky people to find it still carded at your local garage sale or flea market... market
