(More customer reviews)There are actually two versions of Toybiz's TNA Masked Fury Sting. There's the online only version with mask and TNA Sting from the new Sting mold featuring real scan. The second version is available in stores and comes with mask and Sting figure version from 1999's WCW Toybiz mold.
There are pluses and negatives about each one. First of all, the mask is AWESOME. Worth buying either of these sets just for the mask. Looking at yourself with the mask on in front of mirror is a little creepy. You'll see Sting staring back at you. That's how good the mask looks. I say again...worth buying for the mask alone.
Online version: Only available online, new mold of Sting. Looks awesome and cool. Real scan. Probably spend about $20 not including shipping. This particular version of Sting will more than likely be available as a single figure pack later this year and available in stores. This version of Sting could also be part of a Jarret vs. Sting 2-pack.
In stores version: Old 1999 WCW version of Sting with slightly different paint job. Looks awesome and cool. Probably spend about $12 not including the gas it will take to find it. This version is also hard to find in stores.
Which one you say?
Up to you, but my thoughts are true Sting fans are going to want any and all versions of Sting. Save some money, buy the 1999 WCW version of Sting with the different paint job. Enjoy the mask and wait for the single editon of the new mold of Sting and spend about $8. You'll have a cool mask and two cool Sting figures.
Did I mention the mask looks sweet!!!
