(More customer reviews)Ok, I was a Dapper Dan kid. I have vivid memories of trying out the different fasteners on my Dan. And I am absolutely certain he had laces on at least one shoe.
I am glad that this doll has a large button and (plastic) snap for my daughter to work with, but I just wish that there were some laces on one of the shoes (instead of a buckle, which should be on a belt, which is lacking) to provide her with a challenge later one.
Also, the zipper is pretty sub-par. Getting it to initially engage is a challenge for an adult, and it is so poorly made that you almost need 3 hands to pull it up.
That said, it's good overall.
