Great alternative if you don't want to drop $30+ for the Elf on the Shelf product. In addition, this plush elf is better than the Elf that comes with the Elf on the Shelf. My sons received this package from Santa in the North Pole. Inserted in the package was a letter created by my husband and I describing the elf's magical powers and that the elf is in direct contact with Santa. The elf magically moves around the house daily. My 2 year old has found the elf before his older brother at times. The elf is not fool proof. My boys still act out every once in awhile. This is a great Christmas tradition.

Santa's Elves have worked so hard this year making toys that Santa has decided to send the hardest working elves to a child's home for the holidays! Santa's Secret Elf will be sent directly to your child from the North Pole.It is the Elf's "job" to observe your child and report back to Santa so that he can keep track of the children on his nice list! Santa's Secret Elf will return year after year as long as your child has behaved that year. Elves are know to be tons of fun and to be a bit mischevious, so get ready for years of memorable experiences!

My kids just received this Thanksgiving day as a gift and I am now ordering them for every child I know. It is such a cute idea. Santa sends the elf to watch the children and then the elf reports to Santa every night and comes back to a different spot in the house. My kids wake up with a running start to see who can find the elf first. The kids must name the elf and they really enjoyed that as well. It is such a nice tradition to help make the Christmas Season even more fun and special. I know it will be with our family for a very long time.
