Just when I think we have collectively outgrown our obsession with the slinky, the current model gets opened and passed around and the stories of who got last year's edition and what became of it lead to memories of the year before and the one before that, until we are again tied together, reminiscing over the simple yet mesmerizing antics of this galloping winding marvel as it meanders down the stairs and into our hearts. You can't outgrow a slinky!
