(More customer reviews)This isn't a bad choice for a Noah's Ark type toy but it leaves something to be desired. The printed images of animals on the cut-out block shapes aren't very inspiring and the blocks and corresponding fittings are too amorphous. The animals fall out of the ark easily because of this and yet the toy is very awkward to handle. It's OK but not great.

(More customer reviews)It teaches your child about green living. Perfect for these times when its important to conserve energy and find eco-friendly ways to run a house. It comes complete with all play pieces in the picture. Animals, furniture, car, garden, etc. The boy and girl both can be manipulated to sit and move their arms. The concept is so clever with the rotating top floor and center staircase. And the open floor plan makes it easy to play from all sides and keeps it very flexible for imaginative play. I wish we lived in such a cool "green" house.
It took me almost 1 1/2 hours to put together, which is relatively easy to do and well constructed. My 3 year old kept busy with the play pieces while I assembled it. You just need a screwdriver and some wood glue came in handy.
Overall very pleased with this purchase and the learning aspect of it. I'm sure it will provide years of entertainment for my daughter. And the price is great for all that you get.

Maxim 4 Sided Playhouse w/ Figure Review

(More customer reviews)This is such a darling little doll house. Comes with figures that fit perfectly into the furniture and car. It is so easy to put together and because it's wood, it's sturdy. I was a little reluctant to purchase this house, never having heard of Maxim before, but what a pleasant surprise. My daughter loves this, and it's just right for her little hands. Can even be taken apart easily for storage - but we prefer to leave it free-standing in the bedroom. Everything is big and chunky and I would feel comfortable giving this to a child as young as two. If you're debating purchasing this item, err on the side of fun and go for it.
