(More customer reviews)this is a neat little bedtime doll. uniqua sings a sweet little lullaby to sherman the worman, but she sings it loudly. you can only turn it on and off, no volume control. i tried taking the unit out to put something over the speaker, but part that emits the sound isn't in the same part of the doll as the battery pack is.
neat doll for a backyardigans fan, but not for bedtime. our doll also did not come with the hat pictured, but it was purchased from a store, not amazon so it is possible that ours was a different style or the hat was removed while it was in the store.
