There are quite literally over a thousand separate pieces to assemble and many of the required steps are placed in different bags without a cogent, rational system to follow. An example of this is in the assembly of the defibrillator unit (this is Playmobil - detail isn't lacking here): the pieces needed for this accessory were small and lost among countless others in five different bags.
The pieces to interlock the walls and pillars come apart with very little torsion applied - like a little kid leaning over the unit.
If your kid enjoys Playmobil and truly wants to play doctor, the toy is nice - from the kid's point of view. I really did not like putting this together at all. It's a clinic for the kid, but I needed a sanitarium after putting it in her playroom.

Barbie Pet Doctor Review

(More customer reviews)My 6 year old daughter got this for Christmas this year and really likes it. She's really not into Barbie's at all so she doesn't play with the doll much, but she loves the x ray machine and the little cards that you put in it. It's a fun toy that doesn't have a lot of tiny pieces to get lost. The xray cards store nicely in the back of the xray machine. The only problem we're having with the toy is that the shoes don't stay on Barbie's feel very well. They seem a little loose and my daughter gets frustrated with that.

Sesame Street Medical Kit Review

(More customer reviews)We bought this for our daughter a few months before her 2 year check-up. She loved the Sesame Street characters - especially the Zoe "bracelet" (bandage) but the stethescope does not really work and the 'clicker' that you push to sound like a heartbeat is so loud with the earpieces in it hurt my ears. Also, the otoscope is just a hole through the plastic piece in this set. We took it back and got Fisher Price's regular medical kit. The case is a little different but my daughter can't make all the pieces fit in either one. In the regular kit the stethescope really works and the otoscope has a 'magnifier' in it so my daughter thinks it's really neat to look through. If you absolutely must have Sesame Street it's not all bad, but I prefer the standard kit.

Playmobil Suburban House Review

I was looking for a wooden dollhouse, but after seeing how detailed and cute this house was, I purchased this for my 4 year olds Christmas present. My mom supplied all the individual sets that do not come with the house, such as living room, bathroom, kitchen etc. The house does come with some dolls and a BBQ set, some food and lots of flowers for decorating the house/yard. I am completely satisfied with this. I had grandpa help me set it all up or else that might have taken me 4 hours on my own. But I had lots of fun putting it together with a partner. Amazing detail, but not recommended for little kids that have a tendency to put parts in their mouth.
