(More customer reviews)I received this Wizard of Oz matryoshka as a birthday present. The pictures do not do it justice. The doll is well crafted with nice, thick wood. The painting is wonderfully done. If you are a collector of all things Wizard of Oz, then you can't go wrong with this piece. And if you just like collecting unique and different matryoshkas, this is certainly a good one. It would look fabulous in either collection.
It was gifted to me in the shipping box- which was very sturdy and the doll was well-protected in a cotton sleeve surrounded by tissue padding. I have since ordered other pieces direct from Golden Cockerel, and it has proved to be a great seller. Very friendly, super fast shipping, and great packaging.
