(More customer reviews)I started letting my son take this lovey to bed with him when he was 5 months old and able to lift his head, turn it, and roll from tummy to back and back to tummy. He adores it. It's soft, organic, safe for him to chew on, and he often cuddles with it as he sleeps or breastfeeds. It's a wonderful lovey, and I'm sure he'll have it for a long time, especially because it's machine washable and durable.

It comes complete with all play pieces in the picture. Animals, furniture, car, garden, etc. The boy and girl both can be manipulated to sit and move their arms. The concept is so clever with the rotating top floor and center staircase. And the open floor plan makes it easy to play from all sides and keeps it very flexible for imaginative play. I wish we lived in such a cool "green" house.
It took me almost 1 1/2 hours to put together, which is relatively easy to do and well constructed. My 3 year old kept busy with the play pieces while I assembled it. You just need a screwdriver and some wood glue came in handy.
Overall very pleased with this purchase and the learning aspect of it. I'm sure it will provide years of entertainment for my daughter. And the price is great for all that you get.

KidKraft Lil' Doll Tea Set w/ Pink Basket Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this tea set for Christmas 2008 for my granddaughter, and was extremely happy with the quality and play value. She absolutely loves it. As you can see, the basket is pictured with a tab and closing clasp. About two weeks ago, I ordered another for my other granddaughter, and the basket did not have any kind of closure. I thought this was a manufacturing defect, reported it to Amazon, and they immediately sent me a replacement (I love Amazon), which also did not have any kind of closure. I called Kidkraft, the manufacturer, to ask them for a replacement basket, and was informed that the tea set is now made without a closing tab for "safety reasons". This does not make sense as any other child tea set you see with a basket has some way of securing the contents inside. I feel Kidkraft changed the design to save money. When I informed the rep that the box the set arrived in still has the tab basket pictured on it, she said they probably want to use up their old boxes. Bottom line....my Amazon replacement is going back, too. I am very disappointed to have to do this, as the cups, utensils, etc. are adorable and sturdy, but the basket to hold all these items is now worthless.
