(More customer reviews)Nice touches: "reversed" American expeditionary flag on right shoulder, subdued 10th Mtn Div patch on left shoulder (but, mysteriously, no "mountain" tab)
Good stuff: it stands easily and securely on the skis without needing external support . Cool accessories: skis, poles, M4, canteen, bayonet with scabbard, utility belt, white cold-weather boots, and O.D knit cap. This Joe comes with a "muscle torso" and molded black fingerless gloves -- which, combined with the baggy white drawstring trousers that look a lot like karate pants, makes 10th Mtn Div Joe good for martial arts dioramas, too!
Minor disappointments: the remainder of the accessories consisted of 2 M-16 ammo pouches, 2 field dressing pouches, and a rucksack that doesn't have suspenders. What's up with that? If he's going to come with TA-50, he might as well have the suspenders so it will all fit on him.
It's great that GI Joe is honoring the 10th Mtn Div, especially with their service in Afghanistan.

(More customer reviews)I just received this and I have to say its great! As a child in the 60's I played with GI joe and, of course, Barbies.
Its great to have a female doll that is a true action figure! the details of the outfits and the guns are excellent. She can actually hold the rifle and the handgun....in a somehwat normal shooting position.
As a collector this is a great edition, particularly for those of us who are interested in WWII.
The price , however, is a bit steep which places it in the collectors range as opposed to a "child's toy"........

1. TRUE storm shadow WAS a member of cobra in the begining, he was only there to find out who murdered his uncle.(SNake eyes' sensei) once he found out he defected to G.I.Joe.
2. as stated previously Storm Shadow DID NOT murder snake-eyes' sensai, zartan did, but used storm shadow's arrow to frame him.
3. Storm Shadow and Snake-eyes are sword brothers and still get along.
Now you know, and knowing is half the battle.p.s. these figures are great

(More customer reviews)What a thrill to see the G.I. Joe's that I grew up with in the sixties and seventies. And to be able to pass those on to my child? Just had to buy them up.
Unfortunately, Hasbro does not make em like they used to.
Simply taking the shirt off of the Joe caused his arm to snap off at the elbow.
I recall these toys being able to take much more strain and intense battle recreations.
As these were originally sold as Wal-Mart exclusives for $10.00 in Nov - Dec., 08, I would be hard pressed to spend the money they are asking for something that breaks so easily.
I did call Hasbro and told them about the problem.
They sent me a mailer to send the soldier back to them for replacement, however, they cannot guarantee that it will be the same type that I sent them.
At least they're trying.
All in all, it is good to see the long box and the soldier again. Just be careful when you play with him.

(More customer reviews)I bought this figure for parts but I decided to give it a custom paint job instead. I used the newly painted body and gear in a Dios for outfit changes. The Face is very nice as well. Leg movement is limited slightly if you want to make the figure crouch, but works just fine if you need a standing or skydiving pose of course. I am thinking of buying "at least" 5 more to make a female paratroop squad all with custom paint. I just need to convince the wife it is worth the money lol.

(More customer reviews)The Firefly is great. Has a machine gun with a folding stock and a backpack that looks like communication equipment with a small removable panel near the bottom.
The FOUR Joes have different faces and have the exact same outfits. Nice for army building for dios. This is great if you are looking for extra parts for your custom figures or a simple base figure to start one. The elbow joints are limited due to the rolled up sleeves. Two of my figures had stuck wrists(one on each). Both broke off trying to get them to rotate(cause I'm stupid). Simple fix if you know what you are doing. The heads dont look up very well and 3 of the four are smaller than most other GI JOE figures.
You get 5 figures, a bundle of guns, 4 helmets and 3 little cardboard crates(lol i kept them) with this set. However, the Joes are fairly generic So consider that when looking at the prices. Not a smart buy if over $30 in my opinion.
