(More customer reviews)Wow!!I love this Barbie!!(Actually it's a Teresa...but anyways)Mom bought this for me, and I absoulotley LOVE her!!!She is sented, sort of like a vanilla, refreshing smell, i put her in my closet for like, 2 days, and now, my clothes smell absulutly great!!!Her eyeline details are exellent not too much make-up.....a perfect Cali Girl example!!.And for her hair, (I don't understand...but this one's hair quality is way more better then the other Barbies!!)It's a dirty blonde, and brown color mixed together.it's a little bit cross her shoulders.So,they NEVER get knoted.I've had her June 2005, so I have prove.Her legs are larger then normal size, but you can the details, like nail Polish!Her clothes-her shorts are totally short-great for sufing kind of like bikinis,but kind of a jean material.she comes with a stand, a surf-board, and a pair of sunglasses.This is what I think:
Fun-Totally!!You, or your child can spend times brushing her hair, or making up glam adventures!!And plus, she is sented!!How great is that??
Educational-That's enough for a toy!!She teaches that the wheather in California is hot, and your child can learn what fahsion most people there wear!
Durability-I'd say SUPER I had her since June 2005, and NOT A SINGLE SCRATCH.
Overall-she is a great toy, I love her, she is really special, and has great facial details.I highly recommened her.Hope this Helpes!!

Cali Girl Teresa is SCENTED with COCONUT scent! She is LOVELY and has chest-length brown hair and green eyes and pink lips! She has BIG FLAT FEET with painted toenails--Mattel made her feet longer and flat to be more realistic!

Dance 'N Flex Barbie Review

(More customer reviews)Dance N Pose Barbie is doll you don't want to pass up.
Her body is completely made of the same soft flex material dolls like Jewel Girl and Jam N Glam use for their bendable bellybutton waists so you can bend her about (ala gumby) in almost anyway possible.
There are a few bad things about her though..
1. Flex material is very prone to become dirty calling for frequent cloth baths.
2. She is somewhat limited in poses in an odd way. For one, She can't sit down.
3. If bent in to too extreme positions the wires in her arms may eventually come out.
The pros however definetly outway the cons. She has an unusually lovely face, outfit, and hair. Her packaging is excellent as well so she is most definetly recommended to collectors and this doll, due to her somewhat fragile nature may likely become rare as years pass.
Don't miss her.

The smackers version is a great deal, and we didn't even use the lip gloss that was included. It came with a ring (sized for a girl, not the doll), a small cardboard "birthday present," a brush, and the doll has a cute dress with matching purse & shoes. A great value - the Nikki birthday doll is also a great option.

(More customer reviews)I am glad Barbie has gotten back to her roots as a fashion model . Barbie is a fashion doll and for the first time in quite a while she lives up to her billing. I am tired of short flat chested dumpy, plain and short dolls with sappy pets or phony joe jobs .
This doll is all about glamor! Her platinum hair is long and silky. her pose shouts attitude. Doll has the model muse body which allows her to wear much fuller skirts without looking frumpy. Her eye make-up looks like she just left the MAC counter. The boots she is wearing are remarkable pieces of shoe-making.. these are of a quality usually only found made for Volks or other BJD dolls.. the kind of shoes that usually cost more than this complete doll does! YOU not only get a fabulous doll, but she comes with a second outfit and , for the first time in a while, a good hair brush ! Best of all, Mattel did not sew her hair to
the box back, as they did so many times in the past. with the new see through box, you can see what you are getting.. and with Top Model Barbie you are getting one glamrous doll!

Barbie is ready to hit the runway and show off the latest global fashions as a top model. While we all know Barbie’s occupational curiosity has led her down varied paths, this one is perfect for the slender fashionista. She comes wearing a trendy outfit of fishnet stockings, a tiered black miniskirt, a patterned top with a short sleeve shrug, and ankle boots. Her long blond hair is styled sleekly straight and she is carrying an animal print handbag.

While this outfit is certainly catwalk worthy, it’s only logical that a working model have multiple wardrobe changes when on the current job--or when attempting to land her next fashion gig. So this Top Model Doll comes with a complete second set of clothing pieces and accessories. There are denim crop pants, a strapless pink top, a black hat, and a pair of black high heel shoes. All of the clothing can be mixed and matched to create an array of looks for the photographers.

And posing for those photographs is much easier now, thanks to this Barbie’s ModelMuse body and its 12 articulation points. Being able to move her at the wrists, elbows, knees, hips, and more means her poses are realistic to those of an actual model. However, it should be noted that the foot-tall doll will not actually stand on her own.

When Barbie heads out on go-sees, she can wear her black frame sunglasses, carry her portfolio, and pull her hair back with the included hair bands (making it better for designers to see her fabulous features). Also included is a hairbrush for styling her long tresses and a shoe box to hold the pair she’s not currently wearing. Both of these accessories have the bright pink Barbie silhouette logo on them.

(More customer reviews)Finally: Mattel has created a playline Barbie which is actually posable! She's got bendable wrists, knees, elbows, of course at the hip and neck, and I think another joint at the torso. While the joints aren't real pretty to look at, this doll is exceptionally fun for my six year-old daughter to play with. She can sit on chairs, ride a scooter (yes, even in her fancy dress), make all sorts of fancy modeling poses--just like a more expensive collector doll. Plus she has a very pretty face, and her hair is just gorgeous.
Her dress is cute, too--and seems to be well-made. The little white "fur" cuffs are a nice touch, and can be moved up or down the doll's arms to create different looks. Her jewelry adds extra glitz--my daughter really likes it--and her shoes are adorable, too. She also includes a clutch purse, which is a fun little accessory. Of course, we've already lost it.
I need to add a note on the packaging: A+! We were able to get the doll out of her packaging without damaging her hair one a little bit. Her curls look just as pretty in real life as they do in the promo photos. Bravo, Mattel!
We've only had the doll a week, so I can't tell how durable the doll will be. The joints are all feel pretty sturdy, but they bend easily enough for my daughter to pose herself. I think we'd definitely love to add others to our collection.
