They are unlike any of the current Barbie doll family (they are almost the same height as Stacey, but they have "ballerina" feet, so they can't stand alone. It's a good thing they come with a strong, sturdy stand! Their face sculpts are really pleasing, and their colors (hair, clothing & body paint) all blend together nicely. For a Barbie "purist", this might not be your thing. But, if you love dolls of all sorts, and love fairies of all sorts (especially Brian Froud- these are similar to his works, but in 3-D!), then these little darlings are for you!
Also, since there are two dolls in the one package (both can be held by the stand at the same time), little ones can play together and SHARE the dolls. The dolls themselves seem to be pretty sturdy. I'm not a 5-year-old, so I don't know what sort of wear & tear a child would put on these, but they seem reasonably well made.
Overall, I gave this set of dolls 5 Stars. I have one set, and am thinking about buying another just because they are so cute! With their little arms outstretched with their hands up with the palm facing out, they are like little sentries for the gateway to Fairytopia :D

(More customer reviews)I recieved Bratz Step Out! Sasha as a Christmas gift. She has long, black hair with orange streaks. Her hair is in a ponytail with little braids on the top of her head. Her eyes are brown with stars in them. I would've liked hee eyes better without the stars.
She comes with 2 outfits. The 1st one consists of a black and gold shawl (for some reason without a top underneath!), denim pants, and gold high heels. The 2nd outfit is a black and gold top that ties in the back, a shiny, layered gold skirt, and black high heels.
Accessories include a gold purse, a gold bracelet, a ring, gold, dangly earrings, a star shaped hair brush, and a poster. She may also come with a pink bracelet for her and one for you, depending on where you buy her. MGA donates part of the money from the Step Out! line of dolls.
Step Out! includes Cloe, Yasmin, Sasha, Jade, and Meygan.

The movie theater is a great set!
Thw music can be a bit loud but bearable.
How it lights up is really cute as well. the table pops in and out very easily, when popped out the theatre shuts right up in a nice compact size! It even says you can "plug" the table in the other lights and sounds sets!!!

Barbie Fairytopia Dahlia Review

(More customer reviews)My 4 year old daughter received Dahlia and Dandilion in her easter basket, as well as the Fairytopia movie. She loves them. Other than Elina, these are the only character dolls from the movie. They are very cute. The wings don't seem very sturdy, they are glued on and a 4 year old could pull them off easily. Otherwise, very cute and sparks her imagination.

(More customer reviews)My four-year old niece loves this toy! It consists of a castle background (that contains a handsome prince!), two magnetic dolls, and various charming outfits. I had to punch out the outfits from the backing for her, but after that she was off and running. Each outfit (hats, boots, dresses) is that of a type of princess, from a fairy princess to an American Indian princess to a snow princess. Several outfits look like they belong to characters young girls are familiar with: Snow White, Jasmine from Aladdin, Alice in Wonderland. These are wonderful for young girls because they are colorful, durable, and stimulate creative activities like story telling. They are heavy weight, and so resist tearing and can be washed.
Best of all, all the pieces are magnetic so they stay together without getting lost and can be applied either to the supplied background or to any metallic surface. They immediately found a home on the refrigerator. My niece plays with them on the refrigerator door while Grandma cooks dinner in the kitchen.
