(More customer reviews)As an avid beginning cuber, I wanted an easily transportable cube for burning time. I actually used a plier to take off the keychain and ring part of the cube so it's now a free-standing mini cube.
At first the cube is really stiff and speed-cubing is completely out of the question. I've had it about a week and have really twisted the pieces a lot just to get it looser turning. There are still a few tight kinks in some of the twists, but its very usable in general now.
seems pretty durable and no stickers have fallen off

Each section is a triangular shape that pivots where it meets the sections next to it. When you twist it the pieces kind of lock together at 90 degree angles, making it easy to make a stunning variety of shapes. You can twist it into a compact ball, mimic an animal shape, or create interesting patterns and geometric shapes. I remember this toy sitting on my Grandparents' table most of the time as a kid, and for years it has remained fun to play and fidget with.
