(More customer reviews)This is a very well made Tonner doll, but it is different than the jean clad version. This Edward is very good looking but not as pale as the other one and his jaw line is not as sharp. Painted Eyes are a little larger and the hair line is not as angular. The lips a bit fuller and there is a slight sheen to the face. He is handsome but not as "Vampire Looking" as the other Edward. Just my observation, but I love them both! You won't be disappointed.

Robert Tonner Brother Dreary Review

(More customer reviews)Tonner created the Dreary siblings - a sort of emo goth family of youngsters for the modern generation doll collector. One of the last siblings to be added was this doll - breather dreary.
Brother Dreary is a large doll - nearly twice the size of barbie doll and quite wider. Since he is fully articulated, he can be arranged/posed in quite a few interesting positions. This makes him a very good decorative piece since you can change the way he looks all the time and keep him 'fresh'.
Dreary's outfit is very quality - a black cotton Chinese inspired, frogged (buttons) top and matching loose pants. Underneath is a grey cotton undershirts. He comes with appropriate black hair.
I don't have the other Dreary dolls but purchased this one because of the long hair. The outfit is appropriately dreary but, admittedly, far too much on the bland side for me. I'd rather have a bit of mystery and quirkiness in the character and the outfit just doesn't have any of that at all. Honestly, the outfit just makes him look dull. I'm looking forward to redressing him (I will have to buy male clothes from Tonner due to the size of the doll).
The face sculpt is lovely and the hair is especially fine. Really, it's the hair that makes this doll since it can be hard to find male dolls with mid length hair.
In all, I was pleased with the purchase but rate this 4 out of 5 stars because dreary doesn't have to mean dull (as the other dolls in the Dreary line demonstrate with their outrageous goth fashions).

(More customer reviews)very fine detailed, as expected by this manufacturer, with clothing wrinkles and face, hair and shoe details. hair and attitude are exactly like edward in the movie, with the face painted in a permanent scowl/grimice. jacket is a soft plastic so you can bend it back a little bit. his left leg sticks out too far and prevents him from standing on his own, but with his hunched back, he can lean against a wall or take bella for a ride on his back. his head moves slightly, and his arms move at the shoulder joints, so he can throw up his hands in exasperation. overall, very high similarity for a mass-produced toy.

Her dress is adorable and everyone loves the color of her hair (a light purple-ish color) She is one of the less creepy dolls. I love that the dolls comes with thier own little coffin ad death certificate.
