(More customer reviews)I bought this at Walmart for my daughter who seems to be interested in baby dolls right now. The feet, head and hands are all very solid and non-crushable, but the body is soft. It's a good combination for a very destructive 20 month old :) It is very pretty, and seems to hold up to my daughter's abuse pretty well. Except for one thing: the tiara. Even with supervised use, within 2 days of putting it on and off the baby doll, the metallic paint is rubbing off like glitter, and it's clearly visible. I took it (the tiara) away from her, since I have no idea if she might ingest the paint, and what might be in that shedding paint (look at the pics posted). This is the reason I give it 4 stars for durability. Two days of play should *not* do that. As for the actual doll, it seems just fine though, so I can't knock it much for an accessory problem.
Fyi: I bought this one for 10.00 on Feb 4th at the store, so consider that when you're shopping around. The laughing version of this doll usually runs twice as much, though.
