(More customer reviews)Normally, I prefer toys that don't require batteries, but these were a gift from family to my four kids. The youngest, being a baby, doesn't much care, but the other three, 3,5, & 6 yrs, love theirs. I was surprised that they keep playing with them, and that I am not anoyed by them! The kids are using their imaginations to play with the dolls, so they aren't passive toys. I can't testify to durability yet, but they're weirdly cute, and you have the ability to change the batteries, which is great. So, although not something I would have purchased myself, I am strangely tempted to collect them all. But, I think I'll resist and stick with the four we've got.
