LEGO Bionicle Zesk Review

The one thing about Zesk that is a little troublesome is that his head has very stiff movement. Also, I was shocked to find out that Zesk does not talk in human language and is in fact, a "creature." Warning: do not point stinger tail at eyes!

(More customer reviews)A must have for any Lego fan, especially a Toy Story fan as well. My 7 year old and I had a great time putting this together. One of the biggest hits of Christmas. We bought all the Toy Story Lego kits except Woody's Round Up. Everyone knows how much fun Lego sets are, sadly they are very, very expensive. Our only complaint about this set, is Buzz's helmet does NOT stay on. There are tiny pegs on the helmet, but where if fits into the suit piece, the holes are almost non-existent. It's very frustrating having the helmet falling off, it really will not stay on. I still give this 5 stars, and all the other sets we bought too. We've had a great time with them.

When looking at all the Lego sets in the Amazon Lego Store, Harry Potter The Burrows (4840) Lego Set catch my eye right away but the $60 price tag was also something that really needed to be thought about. After seeing the price of this set I looked at LEGO Harry Potter Hagrid's Hut (4738) which was only $40. I finally decided to get Harry Potter The Burrows set and I am really happy about the beautiful design and details throughout the whole set, to the Grandfather clock in the house to the red shingles. The house though, was smaller than I expected which isn't the biggest deal for me because the beauty and details to the Harry Potter world make it up to me. All in all the set is beautiful and was what I really wanted.

Each Aquapet can play interactive games (including a memory-building game and a reflex game), and also chirps and dances in response to your voice and to the sound of other Aquapets. Detailed instructions on how to play the games can be accessed by cutting and pasting the following address into your web browser:

Additionally, it's been brought to our attention that the "Try Me" battery that comes installed in Aquapets is causing some confusion. The black battery unit that is inside your Aquapet when you receive it is designed to provide a quick example of the noises and movements the Aquapet makes. Please remove this partial-powered battery and install 2 fresh AAA batteries so you can play the interactive games and unlock new songs. We apologize for the frustration that may have resulted from the "Try Me" battery.

LEGO Toy Story Woody's Round Up (7594) Review

(More customer reviews)We have all the Toy Story sets, except the 'giant' Zurg and Buzz, which we can't find (except on e Bay at JACKED UP prices!). As of today, Amazon is not carrying them and Toys R Us is sold out. My 7 year old loves these sets. They are great Lego quality.I know some people buy Lego sets to collect, but these are Toys at our house and are played with heavily since Christmas. Lego getting the Toy Story license was a nice idea, good business for Lego, good fun for Toy Story fans. It's a win win situation! (ha just had to say it)
If you can afford it, buy it!
I have to agree with the other review, as a reminder, if you're tempted to buy this for a younger child, this probably isn't suitable for anyone younger than 5-6 at the lowest unless closely working with an adult. Younger children WILL want to play with them, and unless you're completely sure there is no chance of these pieces being swallowed, I would use age-wise caution when purchasing.
Of course, all good Moms and Dads know this anyway!

It seems to have more moving parts than I am used to in lego sets (I always thought of bionicles as having the contraptions rather than lego sets) but in spite of having so many moving parts it seems durable. The attachment point for the mask is at the top of the head instead of at the mouth. So it will look odd if you decide to put on older masks. Overall the set is great. I recommend this set to anyone.

I purchased this for my grandson and we had a great time building it, but it is really fragile. Buzz's helmet won't stay on and he is top heavy so he keeps bending over backwards and the waste. This frustrated my grandson. I would suggest buying it, but just to build and display.
