(More customer reviews)My 6 year old daughter enjoys playing with this quite a bit. She has only had it since Christmas so I don't know if she will continue to use it longterm at this point. From my standpoint there are several things I'm not impressed with. She has a braid across her head and it has already pulled loose. She came with a fish that you can attach to her tail while she swims but it falls off all the time. The one that most concerns me is that water gets into the mermaid part and into her upper body. I empty it out as best I can and we hang her upside down to dry but I'm concerned that mildew will grow inside her and we won't be able to see it. We had some 'squirt' toys when she was little and you could never get them to dry completely so they alway ended up with mildew. I would fill them with bleach periodically but eventually I just threw them out. I will try that with her at some point and hope that it doesn't ruin anything.
