It's a darling set, and I use it for gifts to friends in the health care industry (big girls love Madeline too). However, this time, the seller removed the plastic shoes from the package, citing possible violation of federal regulations regarding soft plastic chemical composition. That was the first time this has happened, and it's a curiosity. I wish the matter could be cleared up, as I'd like to continue to purchase this item (as it becomes available in the future) without reservations.
