Little did I realize that the purchase of the doll would not only provide a lovely, fun companion for her, but also a learning experience in that the doll has educational info on the packaging and a serial number that can be typed in on the computer for the chance to provide a donation of ones choice to be directed to school, home,health or food. It is up to the purchaser. The map and info about the doll's country is printed and explained on the wrap and provides a geography lesson as well as info on the country. It is a ten fold purchase, a win-win for the gift recipient and the giver. Karito Kids puts the doll in our hands and provides much for the recipient. From the time of purchase,Travel Charmer Dolls, 3% of the price goes to children's charity Plan International providing for kids in developing countries. The dolls are beautiful, soft sculptured with beautiful coloring and cute outfits. it is also accompanied by a plastic charm that can be placed on a plastic bracelet or worn on the child's shoes. Wonderful purchase!!! And an entire collection of different countries is possible for a very slight cost.
