Skipper Splash 'n Color Barbie is a 1996 Mattel production, make in Malaysia. Model #16171. Included in the box is a Skipper doll approx. 9.5" tall with long blond hair up in a pony tail with a "Magical" braid that has pink, purple & gold strands that change color in warm water and reappears in cold water. Skipper doll has greenish eyes and she wears a purple with gold mesh trim 2 piece Bathing Suit. At the top of the top part of the Bathing Suit, between the 2 straps is the gold mesh & just below the waist on the bottoms. Skipper also wears gold tone dangly oval shaped earrings. There is a Skipper Splash 'n Color with a Pink Bathing Suit Listed as well. NOTE: Color change hair will last longer if you do NOT expose this toy to intense heat or direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time.
