(More customer reviews)A completely odd choice for a BARBIE doll, ELEKTRA (the lone doll from the Marvel line) is finally seeing store shelves across America. Not based on the film, but the classic comic book character of Elektra, Barbie is now ready to begin her new career as cold hearted assassin (I told you this one was a bit odd)! The doll itself is Barbie quality and stays very true to the design of her original character--even coming with cute little set of sais. The packaging is a bit bland but the newly adopted ELEKTRA logo looks nice and gets the job done.
Hopefully, Marvel will see it fit to release some more dolls in this line (take a gander at DC's gorgoues line of dolls) and Elektra will have some playmates before the year is through. A great doll to add to the collection for fans of the film and comic book.
