(More customer reviews)We bought this chair for my daughter for her 5th b-day. The chair was a huge hit. All the little girls loved sitting on it. A perfect spot for someone to sit while opening their gifts.
The chair seems larger than it looks, it's very low to the ground. I suggest this is better for a younger child who can grow into the chair. (I just purchased my second one for my two year old niece. Ok to fit up to a 7 year old, also depending on weight. The quality of the chair is thick plastic. The earrings and tiara have dangling stones that fall off, so watch out. The chair opens, so you can store items inside, and the necklace is the key to open the chair.

This seat is the perfect accessory to make any little girl’s room feel like her very own castle--with her as the reigning princess! Inspired by the 2007 fall release of the Barbie as The Island Princess DVD movie (in which Barbie takes on the role of Princess Rosella), this white throne features scrolling details and purple and lavender accents.
On closer inspection though, you’ll see that there are a multitude of hidden treasures to delight your queen in training. The intricate seatback is housing play jewelry like bracelets, rings, a necklace, earrings, and even a tiara. Lift the seat up to reveal a secret compartment that holds a skirt, press-on nails, and a micro-mini doll. The glittery skirt can be attached to the edge of the chair when not being worn by your princess or it can be stashed back in the seat’s compartment until needed again.
Whether being used as the backdrop scene for playing with a favorite Barbie or as an actual chair, this throne is bound to provide hours of imaginative entertainment. Barbie dolls are not included with the magical chair, but Princess Rosella and Prince Antonio can be purchased separately.
