(More customer reviews)Well, if Hasbro has decided to drop the 12" line I'm grateful that they did it with style instead of some of the dreadful facial sculpts of some of the more recent year's 12" offerings.
(The 'Saga' Han Solo and Zam Wissell come to mind as being among the absolute worst) When the first three OTC 12" figures came out, it looked as if they were finally back on the right track. Then with the release of the ROTS Clone Trooper, Darth Sidious (OK, he looks a bit more stoned than menacing, but the likeness isn't bad) And the 12" General Grievous (though not well designed for kids, he makes a great addition to any colletor's shelf)
Both the final offerings (Shaak TI and Bariss Offee) are terrific in likeness, clothing, accessories and even come with a unique addition..
a BASE to stand them on! A wise move this was. One could wish they sought this path of wisdom long ago in regards to the 12" figures but I guess the old adage of "Better late than never."
applies here in a superb way considering these are the last of the line.
Thanks Hasbro for the great packaging and figures, again, a great way to close out a line that I will truly be sorry to go now that the quality is so terrific. Truly a great purchase and one that, in this case, makes it OK for a male child or adult collector to own a female 12" figure and still have it known as an action figure instead of a doll.
Shaak Ti hit the mark dead on, may her 'Light Saber' continue to burn bright!
