(More customer reviews)Brings out a childs imagination, a durable little toy, what more could a child or parent want in a toy? Imagination is an important tool in a child's development. This little Qui-Gon Jinn figure is hours of fun. As a mother of a three year old son who is a Star Wars fanatic, and a Star Wars fan myself, we have many of the Star Wars toys in the house. Qui-Gon Jinn basic figure is amongst the heap, as well as the Obi-Wan of course, (we couldn't have one without the other). This toy is not meant to be educational; it is just a toy, and that is enough educational value for my son. The imagination is opened and away he goes. My son has had these figures for months now and has not lost the sabres yet. Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan even trade lightsabres once in awile, they always go back to their own! These little figures even get to have baths...That's when they are in JarJars territory!!! They are small enough for us to pack around everywhere we go, and I don't even mind carry them around when they get handed to me. I like these figures for not only my sons imagination, but mine as well. We play with them all the time. They are definitly durable; if you seen the battles this little figure has put it through by my son, you would know why I say this! This is a great toy to buy any child who likes to explore their imagination, have fun and enjoys Star Wars (and really how many kids don't?)!!

Star Wars 12 IN FEMALE JEDI - SHAAK TI Review

(More customer reviews)Well, if Hasbro has decided to drop the 12" line I'm grateful that they did it with style instead of some of the dreadful facial sculpts of some of the more recent year's 12" offerings.
(The 'Saga' Han Solo and Zam Wissell come to mind as being among the absolute worst) When the first three OTC 12" figures came out, it looked as if they were finally back on the right track. Then with the release of the ROTS Clone Trooper, Darth Sidious (OK, he looks a bit more stoned than menacing, but the likeness isn't bad) And the 12" General Grievous (though not well designed for kids, he makes a great addition to any colletor's shelf)
Both the final offerings (Shaak TI and Bariss Offee) are terrific in likeness, clothing, accessories and even come with a unique addition..
a BASE to stand them on! A wise move this was. One could wish they sought this path of wisdom long ago in regards to the 12" figures but I guess the old adage of "Better late than never."
applies here in a superb way considering these are the last of the line.
Thanks Hasbro for the great packaging and figures, again, a great way to close out a line that I will truly be sorry to go now that the quality is so terrific. Truly a great purchase and one that, in this case, makes it OK for a male child or adult collector to own a female 12" figure and still have it known as an action figure instead of a doll.
