The Noldorian Elves who bravely rallied under their king Gil-Galad and united with the race of Men to battle the dark lord Sauron for the freedom of Middle-Earth barely get half a minute in the prologue of the Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. But no matter how much time they got, you're sure to love this action figure!
It's simply an awesome figure! The detail is fantastic, down to the battle stains on the armor. He comes with his spear (exceedingly long and gorgeous), his bow (complete with clear string, obviously supposed to be the Elf-hair bow string that the Elves use), three arrows in a removable quiver, his oh-so-cool Elven shield, and his long, curved katana sword, which can fit into its sheath.
His helmet does indeed some off, leaving only his fair Elven face and chain mail to see. This does admittedly make him look rather dorky, so I prefer to leave the helmet ON at all times.
He cannot hold his blade in a very cool, convincing pose, so I choose to let that remain in the sheath. If you've seen pictures of the blade, however, it is very accurate. His bow has ornate tips, and his shield is beautifully detailed.
Like I say, he was only featured briefly in the film, but you'll want to capture the splendor and beauty of the Elven-kind by getting this figure. He's great for display, or play, and with all these great accessories, who can resist? Go for it! Sign me up for five.
