(More customer reviews)Rob Zombie takes on a seemingly impossible and almost blasphemous task of remaking (or "reimagining," depending on who you ask) of John Carpenter's classic thriller Halloween, the movie that spawned countless movies about knife-wielding boogeymen stalking nubile teen girls on holidays. And with this new take of the original film, Michael Myers receives an updated look to match Rob Zombie's dirty, grimy style. Michael's dark blue coveralls are now replaced by brown, dirt-covered togs, and Michael's hands are stained red from the blood of his victims. and Michael's trademark pale white mask is now cracked and worn, a change that plays into the mask's origin in Zombie's film.
This figure is more of a display piece than something to play with, but it does come with a stand with his slain sister's tombstone, two different knives, and an interchangeable head with Michael's orange mask he wears while locked up in Smith's Grove Sanitarium (and the mask looks a lot like a jack-o-lantern's face, which may or may not be a coincidence.) fans of the Halloween franchise as well as Rob Zombie's version will like this figure. just be sure this figure is locked up tightly the last week of October. you've been warned.
